Samuel Jones

Samuel Jones is a senior health, safety and risk leader with experience spanning military aviation, heavy manufacturing and large-scale logistics. He currently holds a senior regional leadership role within a global organisation, overseeing safety strategy across high-volume operations.

A Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and Fellow of the IIRSM, Samuel also holds an MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management. He is particularly interested in how safety metrics influence behaviour and risk perception, and advocates for moving beyond headline numbers to understand what data truly says about risk. His work centres on building systems that encourage honest reporting, prevent repeat incidents, and make safety meaningful at every level of an organisation.
