We are initially looking to recruit up to 20 members to join our virtual working group

“I’m delighted to give my full support to the IIRSM’s new landmark initiative, the Emerging Risk Leaders’ Network, which will offer ample opportunities to assist new-in-post risk leaders, as well as rising stars, unlock their potential sooner.” Callum Irvine, Network Chair

OVERVIEW

The network has two main purposes; firstly, to provide opportunities to learn from those who have been there and done it, and secondly, and more importantly, for participants to actively get involved in delivering and contributing to its activities. This provides a great way to develop new skills and contacts and to share experiences to help others in a friendly and supportive environment.

Specifically, it will empower our future leaders to:

  • have a positive impact in their place of work by providing opportunities to develop and raise their profile amongst peers, employers and their profession.

  • build career success by learning from and supporting others and building contacts from different sectors and risk-disciplines to cross-pollinate ideas, knowledge and solutions.

  • get involved in a friendly environment to contribute to research, engage in debate, deliver talks, and participate in reverse and reciprocal mentoring and more.

New digital magazine

We are delighted with our first digital magazine; a key tool bringing to life this network, full of insight, opinion, career support and much more.

GET INVOLVED AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Any IIRSM member who considers themselves an ‘emerging risk leader’ will be able to access the network's activities. However, we are initially looking to recruit up to 20 members to join our virtual working group who will be responsible for driving its direction and contributing to its activities.

Deadline to apply to join the working group is 27 November 2020.

SUPPORT OUR FUTURE RISK TALENT

We work in partnership with organisations that are aligned with our charitable values to educate and support current and future risk talent.

Supporting the Emerging Risk Leaders' Network enables you to demonstrate your commitment to developing risk leaders and the vital role both risk competence and leadership skills play in creating and protecting value - people, reputation, and profits.

If you are interested in partnering with us on this new initiative, please do get in touch by email with Sophie Williams for an initial chat.
