Although I work in a highly regulated industry, which requires stringent rules and strict compliance with licences etc., I care about making people's experience of work better. From the organisation of structures and systems through to team dynamics and relationships, I am interested in how the environment we create can set people up to fail, and how we can design work that allows people to thrive.
My motivation in work is to champion the creation of safe and inclusive spaces where everyone feels that they can fit in and speak up if something feels difficult, different, dangerous or downright dumb! Work shouldn't mean that you have to sacrifice your health or wellbeing, or who you really are.
In all my roles, I do my best to become an 'impact player', make meaningful contributions, and add value to the people and organisations I work with. You will most often find me designing and implementing sustainable management systems such as health and safety, biosafety, risk management and business continuity management.
