Karen J. Hewitt is Director of Leaderlike Ltd. and has spent the last twelve years creating leadership movements for health and safety, both within large organisations and outside of them.  Combining transformational leadership with change communications, she breathes new life into traditional health, safety and wellbeing thinking and believes that transformational health and safety starts with leading, and communicating, in a way that breaks with the status quo. Her second book “People Power – Transform your Business in the Era of Safety and Wellbeing,” published in 2021, has won several awards and been an Amazon no. 1 bestseller multiple times.

Anna Krajewska-Bijata

Anna is a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) leader with over 25 years of experience. She has supported global brands, including IKEA, PepsiCo, Collins Aerospace, and Tetra Pak, in building robust safety cultures and driving sustainable environmental management.

Throughout her career, Anna has provided strategic guidance for major projects, continuously improving occupational risk assessments and working conditions. She actively collaborates with the Institute for Safety Coaching and Leadership (ISCL) to deliver impactful safety improvements and momentum across the industry. Recently, she has also begun a new chapter in her professional journey as a NEBOSH Tutor.

Anna holds a NEBOSH GIC and multiple diplomas in Workplace Safety & Health, Quality Management, Supply Chain, and Occupational Hygiene. Outside of work, she is passionate about long-distance hiking, meeting new people, and supporting pet adoption programs.

Claire Odd - Workplace Health Lead, QinetiQ

Claire is Workplace Health Lead for QinetiQ UK and has spent more than two decades helping organisations understand the connection between workforce health and organisational performance.

Working across defence, technology and other high-risk environments, Claire champions a preventative approach to workplace health. Her work focuses on designing health into the workplace by applying the principles of risk management and the hierarchy of control through a health lens; moving beyond individual wellbeing initiatives to create work environments that prevent ill health, strengthen workforce capability and support sustainable organisational performance. She has also led the development of governance and assurance frameworks for Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) and peer support programmes, helping organisations ensure these initiatives are safe, effective and integrated into wider health and risk management systems.

Claire believes that good workplace health isn't about fruit bowls or resilience workshops. It's about designing work that helps people stay well, contribute well, and go home in as good a shape as they arrived.

Claire is a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and a Professional Member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA).
