Overview

The Crans Montana fire that took place on 1 January 2026 exposed many defaults concerning fire safety (fire prevention and fire protection) not only in Switzerland but also internationally. This Webinar will briefly explore the tragic fatal fire in Crans Montana, and although currently under litigation, the Webinar will not address blame, but will discuss where actions can and should be improved to prevent such a situation from occurring again in the future. The Webinar will also include an opportunity for participants to raise questions and explore the possible impact on workplaces worldwide.
