A highly accomplished and results-driven Occupational Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE) professional with over 15 years of progressive experience across high-risk industries, including marine, oil and gas, and infrastructure operations. A Chartered Member of IOSH with a Master’s degree in Safety, Health, and Environment, bringing a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Recently appointed as the Chair of the IOSH West Africa Community, demonstrating recognised leadership, professional credibility, and commitment to advancing the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) profession across the region. This role reflects a strong track record of contribution to professional development, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with global IOSH strategy.

Demonstrates a proven ability to design, implement, and continuously improve integrated management systems aligned with international standards, including ISO frameworks and maritime safety requirements. Experienced in leading internal and external audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety culture transformation initiatives that drive measurable improvements in organisational performance.

A strategic leader with extensive experience engaging senior management and operational teams to embed safety as a core business value. Adept at influencing decision-making, strengthening governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements while enhancing operational efficiency and resilience.

Recognized for strong capability in training, mentoring, and capacity development, with a passion for developing the next generation of safety professionals. Actively contributes to the advancement of the OSH profession through leadership roles, professional community engagement, and research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications focused on safety performance, risk management, and sustainability.
