Following the 50th anniversary of the Health & Safety at Work Act (HSWA), the speakers look back at progress in Safety and consider if Health needs more attention.

 

Since its creation in 1974 (HSWA), has had a profound effect on how health and safety is managed in the workforce. Coming from a variety of backgrounds and sectors, the panel will share their views on how workplace standards and employee lives have changed over the last 50+ years and what’s in store for the next half century.

 

Those attending will be reminded as to why the health & safety professionals’ roles is more than just compliance but has real life consequences on business, employees, and the population at large.
