Overview:

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and positively influence emotions in ourselves and others. This interactive training equips employees with practical skills to improve self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork. Participants will learn how to build stronger workplace relationships, enhance resilience under pressure, and make thoughtful decisions that contribute to a healthier and more productive work environment.

Participants will leave the training with practical emotional intelligence tools that enhance personal effectiveness, improve workplace relationships, boost productivity, and foster a positive organizational culture. They will be better equipped to manage emotions, navigate workplace challenges, and contribute to a more engaged, collaborative, and high performing team.

Speaker

Dr Fatima Abubakar, Specialist, TOT - Women Connect International

I am Fatima Abubakar, and for over eight years, I have worked across humanitarian landscapes, international schools, refugee shelters, and corporate institutions as a counselling psychologist, a mental health strategist, and a healer of systems and souls.

I work at the intersection of psychological science and lived human experience, blending forensic insight, trauma-informed care, and emotional intelligence to build resilient communities and psychologically safe organizations. My mission is not just to counsel or train, but to transform mindsets, shift cultures, and restore dignity one conversation, one classroom, one crisis intervention at a time.
