We are delighted to welcome several new Ambassadors to the IIRSM Ambassadors Network.

Our new Chair for 2026, Elaine Osborne said: “Over the year ahead, my focus is on creating more opportunities for the Ambassadors to share expertise, connect across industries and inspire others to approach risk with a positive and practical mindset.”

Loveness Marabwa and Desma Kayando will act as joint Deputy Chairs.

Our new Ambassadors are Susan Chapple, Priya Kalyanasundaram, Lauren Crawley, Mark Maguire-Ware and Adam Ennamli.

They join Hugh Maxwell, Jonathan Gawthrop, Joanne Price and Peter Thomas.

Priya said: “Becoming an IIRSM Ambassador is a way of giving back, to share what I have learned, listen to others’ experiences and help raise the standard of risk management together. I’m especially excited about connecting with global professionals from different industries and turning our shared ideas into practical actions that keep more people safe with smarter technology.”

Lauren said: “I have been a member for around five years now and I love the sense of community here. From the IIRSM Branch network to the Emerging Risk Leaders Network, I have enjoyed being a part of it all. Now I am looking to pay back and promote the good work of IIRSM.”

Susan said: “Following a long career in science, my transition into risk management led me to join IIRSM. Even as a relatively recent member, I’ve found the organisation to be exceptionally welcoming and full of energy. I've met so many great people and have learned much from the diversity of voices and experiences IIRSM supports.

“I am delighted to have an opportunity to contribute and get more involved in supporting the work of the IIRSM Ambassadors Network.

“I’m particularly keen to highlight some of the more niche areas of risk management, including my own specialism in laboratory and biosafety. Contributing a different perspective to the broader discussion is something I feel strongly about and am eager to support.”
