IIRSM Training Approval Scheme - terms and conditions for course delegates
These terms set out the full extent of IIRSM’s obligations and liabilities in respect of the review and promotion of training courses, trainers, and organisations approved under IIRSM’s Training Approval Scheme. In particular, there are no conditions, warranties, representations or other terms, express or implied, that are binding on IIRSM except as specifically stated in these terms.
IIRSM shall not be liable for any loss, harm or damage caused to any delegate or delegate’s property whilst attending courses approved under the scheme.
IIRSM reviews the quality of training courses, trainers and organisations applying for approval in line with its Training Approval Scheme assessment criteria (as set out in the IIRSM Training Approval Scheme Information and Guidance document). However, IIRSM does not warrant or guarantee the content, accuracy or completeness of the information contained in the course, marketing of, delivery of, and all other associated materials and information associated with courses approved under its Training Approval Scheme.
IIRSM is not liable for any inaccuracies or makes any representations as to the fitness of the delivery of the courses, the results obtained by individuals and is not responsible for any action taken by delegates or organisations on the reliance of the information imparted by a trainer and/or through the course material during a course approved under the IIRSM Training Approval Scheme.
The training courses approved under the IIRSM Training Approval Scheme are not intended to be a complete presentation of all problems, issues or content for any topic. IIRSM therefore makes no guarantees, or assumes any responsibility for the correctness, sufficiency or completeness of the material presented. The training undertaken from courses under IIRSM’s Training Approval Scheme does not replace any required specific workplace training.
The courses provided under the Training Approval Scheme do not constitute legal or other professional advice or guidance. Nothing included in the Scheme implies a recommendation by IIRSM.
By registering for a course approved under IIRSM’s Training Approval scheme, the delegate and their employer agree that IIRSM shall not be held liable for any type of loss or damage that could be construed as arising from attending or participating in a course approved under IIRSM’s Training Approval Scheme. IIRSM does not take any responsibility for inappropriate use or application of information or instruction provided in any of the courses approved under the IIRSM Training Approval Scheme.
The total aggregate liability of us to you for all losses arising out of or in connection with the IIRSM Training Approval Scheme (whether such losses arise in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise) shall not exceed a sum equal to £500.
By booking and attending a course approved under IIRSM’s Training Approval Scheme you are agreeing to these terms.
