SPEAKERS
TERENCE MORRISSEY, RNLI QSHE MANAGER

Terence is currently the QSHE manager for the RNLI covering Ireland and the Isle of Man. Prior to this, he has over 22 years of experience as an Environmental and Rural Safety adviser with a safety consultancy in the South East of Ireland. Terence was a primary provider of farm safety courses on behalf of the Dept. of Agriculture Food and Marine and have been involved in many safety initiatives along with other organizations towards reducing farm deaths and building that safety culture.

SIOBHAN DONNELLY, IIRSM IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT

Siobhan Donnelly has practiced in Northern Ireland as a solicitor for over 16 years during which time she was founder and senior partner in her own legal practice. She has worked with a wide range of private companies and public sector bodies providing advice on compliance with health and safety obligations along with assistance in the defence of health and safety prosecutions.

In 2000 Siobhan set up SRT Donnelly & Associates in order to concentrate on health and safety law. The company has provided advice to clients on a range of issues including the review of documentation to ensure safe systems and compatibility with future defence. The business is unique in providing advice to directors in the immediate aftermath of serious accidents and fatalities.

MARK BREEN, DIRECTOR OF SAFE EVENTS

Mark is Director of Safe Events as well as Cuckoo Events based in Dublin, Ireland. He is an award-winning Event Safety Officer and one of the most experienced and qualified event & crowd safety practitioners in Ireland. He works internationally and domestically, with recent projects including Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo, multiple events in Saudi Arabia and work on consultancy projects for a large international airport and a European arena. He is a Specialist Member of IIRSM, as well as being a member of IOSH, EPS, IFEA and ESA. He is currently working on his dissertation for the MSc in Crowd Safety & Risk Analysis in Manchester Metropolitan University.
