The presentation offers an insight into the safety critical analysis process to cover the wider aspects of business risk for utilities, production as well as financial institutions.

George Petrie

A Chartered health and safety practitioner (CMIOSH) as well as a chartered Ergonomist/Human Factor Specialist (CErgHF). A member of the International Institute of Risk Safety Management (MIIRSM) and I.S.C.A Safety Coach with extensive health and safety experience.

A background in engineering and a wide range of experience in the manufacturing, mining as well as the oil & gas industry.  George has approximately 22 years’ experience within HSE and Human Factors in varying roles working with operations, planned maintenance programmes, shutdowns, turnarounds and various major projects throughout the UK sector of the North Sea, Norway, Italy, US, the Netherlands, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and UAE.
