Tamma Carel is a senior environmental consultant, sustainability strategist, and co-founder of iCOR Systems – a compliance software platform supporting environmental and health & safety audits across multi-site operations.

She is also the founder of Imvelo Ltd., helping businesses embed ESG into operations and align with global standards. In 2024, Tamma delivered a TEDx talk reflecting on her South African roots and the urgent need to reduce consumption to protect our ecosystems. Advocating a “Nature First” approach, she calls for putting planetary health at the centre of every decision.

Tamma is an Associate Lecturer in Sustainability and holds an Executive MBA from Newcastle University. She’s an active advocate for women in STEM and supports organisations in building leadership, risk awareness, and resilience to drive measurable progress toward the UN SDGs.
