IIRSM Branches are independant of IIRSM headquarters and as such the opinions and views expressed by any IIRSM branch, in any format or media, are not necessarily those of IIRSM headquarters.
Occupational health and safety and risk management is a broad topic and IIRSM’s membership is diverse as a reflection of this.Networking opportunities are valuable, particularly if they are tailored for the needs of the membership. As a consequence, IIRSM actively welcomes the establishment by members of regional branches in order to promote local discussion, networking, and sharing of information.
Launched in 2010, IIRSM’s new branch structure has been designed to be flexible to accommodate differing networking structures and to be attractive to both UK and International members. Member-led and member-focussed, the branch structure facilitates networking in all its forms; whether it is through regular meetings or through electronic forums or groups.
By setting up, or joining, a Regional Branch in your area, or country, you will be maximising the potential for communication of local knowledge and information sharing. Branches serve as a platform for health and safety professionals, and specialists alike, to meet on a regular basis to discuss the issues relevant to them which have impact on their daily lives, professionally, locally and regionally.
Make a difference by setting up, or joining, a Regional Branch. Once a branch has been established, its details will be listed here on the IIRSM website so that communication can be made directly to the branch representatives by any interested parties.
