The Health & Safety Expo 2008 will be held once again at the
NEC, Birmingham from 13-15 May 2008.
Now in its 12th year,
Safety & Health Expo is Europe's leading annual health and
safety event.
Amongst the current benefits of membership,
IIRSM will be promoting its newly launched handbook on
“Affective Safety Management (ASM)” and its annual joint
conference with HSW Magazine. This follows on from a string
of successful ASM Workshops and a planned ASM Conference to
be held in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on 8 May 2008.
The ASM handbook is a thought-provoking,
entertaining and easily digestible handbook which draws upon
psychological techniques and the application of emotional
intelligence in looking at “why people do the things they do
when it comes to safety”.
